These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and Billda Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16722992) with its registered office at Unit C, Williamson Street, Hull, United Kingdom, HU9 1EP ("Billda", "we", "us", "our").
By accessing or using the Billda platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.
These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which explain how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
In these Terms, the following words have the meanings set out below:
"Admin" means a User with full management access to an Organisation's account, including the ability to invite Users, configure settings, manage Sites, and approve payments.
"Allocation" means a record of work booked by a User against a Labour Item on a specific Plot within an Allocation Period.
"Allocation Period" means a weekly period (based on ISO 8601 week numbering) during which work is booked, verified, and submitted for payment.
"Contractor" means a User who can submit work claims and manage Gang members and fixed rates within an Organisation.
"Deduction" means an amount to be deducted from a payment, as recorded and managed through the Platform.
"Gang" means a named group of Users who work together and share payment from a Pot.
"Labour Item" means a defined type of work with a fixed price, assigned to a Plot on a Site.
"Organisation" means the business entity that has registered an account on the Platform and manages Users, Sites, and payment workflows.
"Payment CSV" means the comma-separated values file generated by the Platform containing payment amounts and bank details for an Allocation Period.
"Platform" means the Billda web application, mobile applications, and any related services operated by Billda.
"Plot" means a subdivision of a Site, identified by a plot number.
"Pot" (or "Payment Pot") means a weekly payment container that groups Allocations for a User or Gang within an Allocation Period.
"Pulse" means the AI-powered insights feature available on the Platform, as described in Section 9.
